September 20, 2022: Des Moines, NM 88418 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) and the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM), saw Clayton's volleyball squad nip Des Moines by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Clayton upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Raton (Raton, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 22. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Raton lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Taos (Taos, NM)
The Demons now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grady for a non-league bout on Friday, September 23. Des Moines will play a Bronchos squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Floyd (Floyd, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 5-4.
