September 20, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23320 The Indian River Braves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Oscar Smith Tigers to 0 in the Braves league victory on Tuesday.
The Braves now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deep Creek for a Southeastern game on Thursday, September 22. Indian River will meet a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-6.
The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their game against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Southeastern game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, King's Fork gained a win over Heritage (Newport News, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
