The Darlington Tigers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Model Blue Devils to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Darlington improves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Dade County (Trenton, GA) to clash with the Wolverines in a 1A D-I Region 7 game on Thursday, September 21. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 12-5. Dade County won 7-2 in their recent league game against Chattooga (Summerville, GA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) in a 2A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, September 26. Model will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
