September 20, 2023: Hammond, LA 70401 The St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) volleyball overcame the visiting Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Amite (Amite, LA) to face the Warriors in a Division IV District 4 outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 2-5.
The Tornadoes now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Loranger for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 21. Hammond will face a Wolves squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 8-6.
