September 20, 2024: Trinidad, TX 75163 Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX), 60-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Avalon advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles host Methodist Children's Home (Waco, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, September 27. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-4. Methodist Children's Home lost 30-12 in their recent non-league game against Oglesby (Oglesby, TX)
The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their game against King's Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, King's Academy was trounced by Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX), 33-28, in a non-league game.
