Georgia High School Football - Central crushed by Southwest

September 20, 2024: Macon, GA 31206

The Southwest Patriots walloped the visiting Central Chargers football team by a score of 45-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Indians go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 46-27 league win over East Laurens (East Dublin, GA).

The Chargers (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Golden Hawks go into the A D1 Region 2 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Washington County bounced Bleckley County (Cochran, GA), 21-17, in a league challenge.
