The crowd at Friday's league contest between the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) and the visiting Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC), witnessed North Pitt's football squad edge Greene Central by a tally of 24-22.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, West Carteret got by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 51-13, in a non-league contest.
