The Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) football were victorious over the host Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY), 26-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Xavier Knights (New York, NY) in a Catholic AA I challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 28-14 league loss to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY).

The Gaels (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Dominic (Oyster Bay, NY). The Bayhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Dominic lost by Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY), 34-6, in a league challenge.
