Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH), 30-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Hopewell-Loudon improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Margaretta (Castalia, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River battle on Friday, September 27. The Polar Bears go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Margaretta won 26-7 in their recent league battle against Woodmore (Elmore, OH)

The Raiders now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Willard for a Sandusky Bay - River battle on Friday, September 27. Lakota will play a Crimson Flashes team coming off a 49-19 non-league loss to Lucas (Lucas, OH). The Crimson Flashes record now stands at 2-3.
