The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans felled the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts football team by a score of 42-28 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Carterville Lions (Carterville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. St. Joseph-Ogden will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record.
