The Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) football trounced the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), 47-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paxton-Buckley-Loda for a Illini Prairie outing on Friday, October 4. Prairie Central will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 40-0 league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
