The Northwood Chargers football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 0 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bartlett Yancey for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina test on Friday, September 27. Northwood will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 56-12 league win over Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Jordan-Matthews drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Jets travel to North Moore (Robbins, NC) to clash with the Mustangs in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina test on Friday, September 27. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-4. North Moore lost 29-6 in their recent league test against Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC)
