North Carolina High School Football - Jordan-Matthews overwhelmed by Cummings

September 6, 2024: Siler City, NC 27344

The Cummings Cavaliers walloped the host Jordan-Matthews Jets football team by a score of 55-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina challenge, on Friday, September 13. Cummings will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 66-26 league win over Graham (Graham, NC).

The Jets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Bears enter the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Chatham Central was ripped by Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 69-0, in a league challenge.
