In Friday's non-league game, the New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool (New Braunfels, TX) football team overcame the visiting Valor South Austin Falcons (Austin, TX), by a tally of 50-38.

In their next game, the Homeschool face the Calvary Baptist Academy Conquerors (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 27. New Braunfels Thunder will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Conquerors enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 90-41 non-league loss to Waco Christian (Waco, TX).
