Connecticut High School Football - Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial trounces Amistad
September 20, 2025: New Haven, CT 06519 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial football squad scored a decisive 51-0 victory over the Amistad Wolves.
The (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets enter the Eastern Connecticut II match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Windham was routed by Fitch (Groton, CT), 28-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wolves now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hillhouse for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Amistad will play a Academics team coming off a 49-24 non-league loss to New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Academics record now stands at 0-1.
