Sacramento Dragons (Sacramento, CA) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA), 48-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Sacramento advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Dragons travel to Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to encounter the Patriots in a Monticello Empire League battle on Friday, September 26. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-2. Pioneer lost 20-16 in their recent league match against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a Monticello Empire League match, on Friday, September 26. Wood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 40-0 non-league win over Kennedy (Sacramento, CA).
