Massachusetts High School Soccer - Haverhill nudges Ipswich
September 20, 2025: Haverhill, MA 01832 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Haverhill Hillies soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Ipswich Tigers.
The Hillies (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence (Lawrence, MA). The Lancers come into the Merrimack Valley II test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Lawrence was tipped by Andover (Andover, MA), 4-1, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a Cape Ann game on Monday, September 22. Ipswich will play a Generals squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Ipswich (Ipswich, MA). The Generals record now stands at 5-1.
