Massachusetts High School Soccer - Ipswich knocks off Georgetown
September 2, 2025: Ipswich, MA 01938 Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA), 5-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Ipswich moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rockport (Rockport, MA) to clash with the Vikings in a Cape Ann test on Thursday, September 4. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-0. Rockport won 2-1 in their recent league test against Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA)
The Royals now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a Cape Ann outing on Thursday, September 4. Georgetown will confront a Generals squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Amesbury (Amesbury, MA). The Generals record now stands at 1-0.
