Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Southern Rams (Oakland, MD), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mountain Ridge advances its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD) to clash with the Sentinels in a Class 1A West I outing on Thursday, September 25. The Sentinels go into the outing with a record of 3-2.
