Kansas High School Volleyball - Caney Valley tips Galena

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Caney Valley Bullpups volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Galena Bulldogs.

The Bullpups (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Dewey nudged Sperry (Sperry, OK), 3-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baxter Springs for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee test on Tuesday, September 23. Galena will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Lions record now stands at 13-5.
