In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Copper Basin Cougars volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Walker Valley Mustangs.

Next up, the Cougars face the Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 20. Copper Basin will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record.

The Mustangs (9-16) will now prepare for their game against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (Chattanooga, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 15-7 record.
