Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the New Heights Christian Academy Cougars (Joplin, MO) and the host School of the Ozarks Patriots (Point Lookout, MO), observed New Heights Christian Academy's volleyball team hold off School of the Ozarks by a count of 2-1.

The Cougars (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tournament Team (, ). The enter the non-league battle with a 4-20 record. In their last battle, Tournament Team was edged by Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
