California High School Volleyball - Notre Dame can't hold off Sacred Heart Prep

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) volleyball team nipped the host Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA), by a count of 2-1.

The Gators (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Menlo School got by Mercy (Burlingame, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequoia for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 20. Notre Dame will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 8-6.
