Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) fans left the game content Tuesday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Man Hillbillies (Man, WV), 28-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mount View improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Sherman (Seth, WV) to confront the Tide in a Coalfield A test on Friday, October 1. The Tide come into the test with a record of 4-1. Sherman won 26-20 in their recent non-league test against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV)

With the loss, Man drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hillbillies travel to Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV) to confront the Maroon Knights in a non-league test on Friday, September 24. The Maroon Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Wheeling Central Catholic lost 33-21 in their recent league battle against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH)
