North Carolina High School Soccer - Western Alamance nudges Cedar Ridge
September 21, 2022: Elon, NC 27244 Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors face the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a Central 3A challenge, on Monday, September 26. Western Alamance will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Orange (Hillsborough, NC).
The Fighting Red Wolves now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Williams for a Central 3A challenge on Monday, September 26. Cedar Ridge will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-0.
