September 21, 2023: Vinton, VA 24179 The William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) football edged the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 20-18 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Terriers face the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 28. William Byrd will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 42-29 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
The Highlanders (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record.
