Wisconsin High School Soccer - Hortonville knocks off Appleton West
September 21, 2023: Appleton, WI 54914 Hortonville Polar Bears (Hortonville, WI) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Appleton West Terrors (Appleton, WI), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Polar Bears confront the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Hortonville will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 6-0 league win over Merrill (Merrill, WI).
The Terrors now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appleton North for a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Appleton West will confront a Lightning team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI). The Lightning record now stands at 5-4.
