September 21, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 In Thursday's league contest, the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA), by a margin of 7-0.
With the triumph, Alcovy moves its record to 14-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Grayson (Loganville, GA) to play the Rams in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 23. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 19-5. Grayson won 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Jones County (Gray, GA)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA) in a 6A Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Mundy's Mill will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 9-6 league win over Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).
