The Bishop Lynch Friars held off the visiting John Paul II Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Friars now have a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a TAPPS 6A District 1 test on Tuesday, September 26. Bishop Lynch will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 6-14.
