Maine High School Football - Windham overwhelmed by Thornton Academy
September 21, 2024: Windham, ME 04062 The Thornton Academy Trojans walloped the host Windham Eagles football team by a score of 54-14 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a A South challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Thornton Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Portland (Portland, ME).
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, South Portland bounced Oxford Hills/Buckfield (South Paris, ME), 42-7, in a non-league challenge.
