Maine High School Football - Noble can't hold off Thornton Academy
October 4, 2024: North Berwick, ME 03906 The Thornton Academy Trojans got by the host Noble Knights football team by a score of 33-26 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans play the South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) in a A South challenge, on Friday, October 11. Thornton Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Red Riots go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 24-19 league loss to Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME).
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Lewiston was edged by Oxford Hills/Buckfield (South Paris, ME), 21-7, in a league challenge.
