September 21, 2024: Troy, NY 12180 Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Averill Park advances its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY) to clash with the Scotties in a Suburban Council- Gray test on Tuesday, September 24. The Scotties come into the test with a record of 2-2. Ballston Spa won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Cohoes (Cohoes, NY)
The Flying Horses now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cohoes for a Colonial Council test on Tuesday, September 24. Troy will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
