September 21, 2024: Ackley, IA 50601 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA) and the host AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), observed BCLUW's volleyball team top AGWSR by a count of 2-0.
The Comets (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Falcons enter the contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Aplington-Parkersburg was knocked off by Denver (Denver, IA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Cougars battle the Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. AGWSR will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 8-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Delaware (Manchester, IA).
