New Mexico High School Volleyball - Mescalero Apache bounced by Alamo Navajo
September 21, 2024: Mescalero, NM 88340 Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Alamo Navajo improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Cougars host Mountainair (Mountainair, NM) to face the Mustangs in a 1A District 3 test on Wednesday, October 2. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 2-7.
The Chiefs now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Mescalero Apache will face a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Elida (Elida, NM). The Colts record now stands at 6-4.
