St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers (Buffalo, NY), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Raiders confront the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. St. Francis will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Little Irish enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Nichols (Buffalo, NY).

The Tigers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a Msgr Martin challenge on Tuesday, September 27.
