Colorado High School Softball - Sierra gets by Mitchell
September 22, 2022: Colorado Springs, CO 80916 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), witnessed Sierra's softball squad tip Mitchell by a count of 1-0.
The Stallions now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gunnison for a non-league match on Saturday, September 24. Sierra will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Mitchell moves to 1-11 on the season. The Marauders travel to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Titans in a 4A/3A CSML North match on Tuesday, September 27. The Titans go into the match with a record of 2-15. The Classical Academy lost 23-2 in their recent non-league match against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO)
