California High School Volleyball - Alhambra can't hold off San Gabriel
September 22, 2022: Alhambra, CA 91801 In Thursday's league battle, the visiting San Gabriel Matadors volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Alhambra Moors.
The Matadors (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 15-11 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe was edged by California (Whittier, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Moors encounter the Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) in a Almont battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Alhambra will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Aztecs come into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA).
