The Ashley Screaming Eagle volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Laney Buccaneers to 0 in the Screaming Eagle league victory on Thursday.

The Screaming Eagle now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A game on Tuesday, September 27. Ashley will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-10.

The Buccaneers (13-2) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, North Brunswick dropped by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
