The Alexandria Trojans football squad scored 21 points and restricted the host East Ascension Spartans to 14 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Oaks for a non-league battle on Friday, September 29. Alexandria will play a Giants squad coming off a 47-0 non-league loss to Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Giants record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 28. East Ascension will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Cavalier enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 32-14 non-league loss to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA).
