The West Monroe Rebels football squad scored 34 points and restricted the host East Ascension Spartans to 20 in the Rebels non-league victory on Friday.

The Rebels now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delhi Charter for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15. West Monroe will play a Gators squad coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-2.
