September 22, 2023: Kiln, MS 39556 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) and the visiting Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS), saw Hancock's volleyball squad beat Bay by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 23-6 on the year. The Hawks host Purvis (Purvis, MS) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Purvis won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS)
The Tigers now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they host Greene County for a Class 4 Region 8 bout on Saturday, September 23. Bay will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
