California High School Flag Football - Corona nips Roosevelt

September 22, 2025: Corona, CA 92882

The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) and the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA), witnessed Corona's flag football squad edge Roosevelt by a tally of 18-12.

The Panthers (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Shadow Hills was nudged by Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA), 32-6, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 24. Roosevelt will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Wolverines go into the battle with a 9-8 record after their 12-0 league win over San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
