Mississippi High School Volleyball - Amite County over Wilkinson County
September 22, 2025: Liberty, MS 39645 Fans at Monday's league contest between the Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS) and the visiting Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS), observed Amite County's volleyball team top Wilkinson County by a count of 3-0.
The Trojans (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Bogue Chitto was knocked off by Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) in a Class 2A Region 7 contest, on Monday, September 29. Wilkinson County will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Cobras enter the contest with a 12-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS).
