North Carolina High School Volleyball - Shelby bounced by Chase

The Shelby Golden Lions volleyball squad (Shelby, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league test with the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC)

The Trojans (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers come into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, R-S Central was beaten by Draughn (Valdese, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Lions meet the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Shelby will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).
