Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions (Abingdon, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Council Cobras (Council, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cornerstone Christian Academy improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Lions host Appalachian Christian Academy (Rural Retreat, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-2. Appalachian Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Ballard Christian (Ballard, WV)

The Cobras now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hurley for a Black Diamond challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Council will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 0-6.
