Tennessee High School Volleyball - Cosby overwhelmed by Pigeon Forge

Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles come into the AA District 3 challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Seymour gained a win over Fulton (Knoxville, TN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a A District 2 test on Tuesday, September 23. Cosby will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Cherokee (Rogersville, TN). The Pirates record now stands at 18-7.
