Mississippi High School Volleyball - East Marion over Jefferson Davis County
September 22, 2025: Columbia, MS 39429 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the East Marion Eagles (Columbia, MS) and the visiting Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS), observed East Marion's volleyball team top Jefferson Davis County by a tally of 3-0.
The Eagles (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Tylertown, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Salem was beaten by West Marion (Foxworth, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS) in a Class 3A Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Jefferson Davis County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Raleigh (Raleigh, MS).
