September 22, 2025: Metairie, LA 70002 Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lutheran upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to play the Pioneers in a Division V District 8 challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Crescent City Christian won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Landry (New Orleans, LA)
Next, the War Eagles play the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a Division V District 5 game, on Wednesday, September 24. Louisiana School for the Deaf will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 0-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA).
