In Thursday's league contest, the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets battle the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, September 28. Forest Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Redhawks go into the outing with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC).
