North Carolina High School Volleyball - Falls Lake over East Wake Academy

September 23, 2021: Zebulon, NC 27597

Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Firebirds clash with the Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 27. Falls Lake will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 0-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC).

With the loss, East Wake Academy drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC) to clash with the Raptors in a Super Six 1A/2A match on Tuesday, October 5. The Raptors come into the match with a record of 3-14.
